If we keep viewing Korean art through the eyes of western aesthetician,we will be unable to see the shame that Korean contemporary art isnothing but a pathetic epigone of western art. Nevertheless, given thescene and sensibilities of Korean artists and the Korean public which isstill dominated by the traditional thoughts of an agrarian culture; Koreanaesthetics must be inherent in contemporary Korean art, regardless of itsdominant Western influence.
