Kevin Pertchik, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with adults and geriatric populations. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland, a master's degree from Columbia University in Developmental Psychology, and a second master's degree and doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in Fresno. He completed a pre-doctoral internship through Harvard University, Department of Psychiatry and postdoctoral training in Geropsychology at Boston University. In addition to teaching at Sage Graduate School, he has presented at several national conferences on topics related to psychology and aging and personality assessment. For two years he was the director of Samaritan Hospital's 20-bed Inpatient Geropsychiatry Unit. Currently, Dr. Pertchik provides clinical consultation to nursing homes in Albany and Saratoga counties through RG Psychological Services. He practices part-time at the Saratoga and Latham offices of SPA where he focuses on the Cognitive Behavioral Treatment of anxiety and mood disorders, couples counseling, and psychological testing. Dr. Pertchik sees patients in Albany and Saratoga Springs.
