According to Sheriff Ed Graybeal, Washington County Sheriff's Office responded to 230 Pickens Bridge Road in response to calls of an Armed Robbery. Upon arrival deputies were told 2 black ski mask wearing individuals had forced their way into the home while carrying shotguns. The two men demanded money. They fired a shot into the floor of the home. The offenders fled with over $2000 in cash, a wallet, 2 watches, a victim's shotgun and 2 iphones. Deputies ran a track utilizing a K9 and discovered where the offender's had parked and also recovered a ski mask. Deputies obtained a vehicle description from witnesses and broadcast it to the surrounding area. A short time later a Sullivan County Sheriff's Office Deputy observed the vehicle traveling on Highway 11E toward Bristol. The deputy stopped the vehicle after a short pursuit with the assistance of Bristol Police Department. Sullivan County Sheriff's Office took Jamie L. Silvers, age 49, 4435 Old Asheville Hwy, Flag Pond; into custody for suspicion of Driving Under the Influence. Washington County Sheriff's Office drove to the stop location and took Nathan A Silvers, age 37, 2183 Rice Creek Rd, Flag Pond; into custody for 4 counts of Armed Robbery, 11 counts of Attempted Armed Robbery and 15 Counts of Reckless Endangerment.
